My name is Luminita Baciu, I am a professional conference interpreter and certified translator, specializing in French, English, Spanish, and Romanian.
I assist companies, institutions, law firms, healthcare professionals, and cultural actors with their multilingual communication needs, both in person and remotely.

My story
I grew up in a small village in northern Moldavia, Romania, where I divided my time between working the land with my parents and studying foreign languages. Even at a young age, I dreamed of a different future, filled with discovery, study, and travel. Languages and cultures fascinated me—they represented a gateway to the world, to other people.
I was fortunate enough to realize this dream. After completing my studies in France with flying colors, I continued my education in England, then in Belgium, where I honedmy conference interpreting skills to the highest level.
Today, I divide my time between Lille, Paris, and Brussels —three cities that have become my professional and personal anchors in the heart of Europe. My job not only allows me to live out my passion, but also to help build bridges between cultures, institutions, and people.
And because I have never forgotten where I come from, I want to use my work to support young people who, like me, dream big but lack the means to succeed.

🎓 Conference Interpreting Training
ITIRI at the University of Strasbourg and ISTI at the Free University of Brussels — specializing in simultaneous, consecutive, and liaison interpreting.
📜 Certified translator and interpreter
Accreditation issued by the Court of Appeals, allowing me to work in official contexts (civil marriages, notary offices, courts, prefectures, etc.).
💼 Over 10 years of experience in multilingual interpreting, working with clients throughout Europe.
